Larry Tull’s first recorded live cash occurred in December 2002, he entered a $100 + $20 Limit Hold’em event at the 12 Days of Christmas in Gardena. He placed 2nd and took home $2,070.
Then, in March 2005, he participated in the $1,000 + $60 No Limit Hold’em event at the Rio Las Vegas Poker Festival, finishing in 6th place and earning $18,362.
Later that year, in June 2005, he took part in a $500 + $50 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the 2005 Mini Series of Poker in Los Angeles, where he finished 3rd and collected $6,890.
