Kris has worked for firms like two of the biggest firms out there: Facebook & Google. Holst originally picked up poker in the Columbia University dorms while majoring in computer science and economics.

In 2009, Kristina Holst played in her first live event. A $2,500 No Limit Hold’em event at the 40th World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2009 in Las Vegas. Three years later, in the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em (Event #31) 43rd World Series of Poker, Las Vegas, she competed in her second match, finishing in 145th place and earning $3,719 in prize money. Holst Excelled in the Pot Limit Hold’em (Event #19) 44th World Series of Poker – 2013. She was quite successful. Kristina placed sixth and earned a whopping $44,844 in prize money. Additionally, she earned $11,188 for finishing 15th in the $1,000 no-limit hold’em turbo event.
