Kimberly Bye’s first recorded live cash occurred in May 1983 at the 14th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. She finished in 2nd place in a $500 Women’s Limit 7 Card Stud, cashing $6,400.

In February 1985, Kimberly played in a $400 Ladies 7 Card Stud at the Amarillo Slim’s Superbowl Of Poker in Las Vegas. She clinched victory and won $8,880.
