Renowned as an elite coach for Run It Once, he simultaneously produces instructional content while competing in high-stakes cash games online. With total live earnings of $3,934,665, his best live cash win stands at an impressive $1,210,487. The pinnacle of his career came on November 21st, 2021, during the 52nd World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, United States. Kevin Rabichow began playing online poker in 2005 while studying economics at the University of Chicago. His passion for the game grew substantially by 2008. However, in 2011, Black Friday significantly impacted the online poker community, prompting Kevin to relocate to Toronto to focus solely on his poker career. By this time, he had already mastered high-stakes poker and was actively sharing his expertise by teaching others.
Apart from his dedication to poker, Kevin enjoys showcasing his culinary skills on Instagram, sharing his delectable creations. He is also an avid participant in ultimate frisbee, engaging in both playing and coaching. This hobby not only brings him joy but also enhances his coaching abilities.
In 2014, he joined Run It Once Training as an elite coach, producing instructional content while competing in high-stakes online cash games.
From 2015 to 2017, he coached a select group of heads-up cash players, guiding them from $50 and $100 buy-in games to collectively earning over $500,000. Many of these players continue to excel at high stakes online today. His current roster of students includes online 6-max professionals, live cash enthusiasts, and dedicated MTT grinders. Through hundreds of hours of coaching, he has developed effective tools to help players confidently address their biggest leaks.
His course on Run It Once, titled “The Game Plan,” represents decades of experience as both a player and teacher. Designed to instill the skills required for success at all levels, the course focuses on heads-up no-limit hold ’em (HUNL), guiding participants through self-assessment using his own statistics and data as examples.
Over the years of coaching and professional poker playing, he has collaborated with many of today’s top no-limit hold ’em players, both live and online. Currently, he is dedicated to enhancing his 1-on-1 coaching approach to cater to players across various expertise levels effectively.
Kevin Rabichow has built an impressive tournament track record over the years. It all began on June 15th, 2011, at the Deep Stack Extravaganza III in Las Vegas, where he finished 12th in the $550 No Limit Hold’em event, taking home $2,565.
In 2019, he showcased his skills at the Partypoker LIVE – partypoker MILLIONS North America tournament in Kahnawake, Canada. Subsequently, in the PPL C$10,300 No Limit Hold’em event, he secured 2nd place, earning $484,460.
Building upon his success, on November 21st, 2021, in Las Vegas, Kevin participated in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2021, finishing 2nd in the WSOP PKRGO $100,000 No Limit Hold’em High Roller event (Event #87), with a prize of $1,210,487.
Kevin’s achievements continued during the World Poker Tour – WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown on April 11th, 2022, in Hollywood, United States. During this event, in the PKRGO $25,500 No Limit Hold’em High Roller event (Event 44), he secured 7th place, winning $115,115.
Moreover, his success persisted on June 2nd, 2022, in Las Vegas, during the 53rd World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022. In the WSOP PKRGO $25,000 No Limit Hold’em Heads-Up Championship (Event #6), he secured 3rd place, with a prize of $193,537.
December 11th, 2022, marked another milestone for Kevin in Las Vegas during the World Poker Tour – WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. During this event, competing in the $25,200 No Limit Hold’em High Roller event, he secured 2nd place, earning $518,940.
Adding to his achievements, on January 18th, 2024, in Hollywood, Kevin showcased his talent at the 2024 Lucky Hearts Poker Open, securing 2nd place in the $25,500 No Limit Hold’em High Roller event (Event #31) and adding $284,050 to his earnings.
Kevin’s latest endeavor took him to Jeju, South Korea, on March 14th, 2024, for the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju. During this event, competing in the TRITON $106,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event (Event #11), he secured 11th place, earning $378,000.
