Kenny Nguyen

Kenny Nguyen is an American professional poker player from Lynwood, Illinois, with over $1.4 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $156,212 came when he finished in 6th place at the WPT Borgata Poker Open in September 2009. During his poker career, Kenny has won two rings at the WSOPC Philadelphia in May 2011 and WSOP Las Vegas in February 2017.

Kenny Nguyen’s first recorded live cash occurred in March 2000 at the Winnin’ o’ the Green in Los Angeles. He finished in 9th place in a $100 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $855.

In July 2007, Kenny played in a $2,000 + 200 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event at the Heartland Poker Tour in Gary. He finished in 4th place and earned $54,919.

At the WPT Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City in September 2009, he earned his biggest live cash to date earning $156,212. Kenny participated in a $3,300 + 200 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event and secured 6th place.

Later in January 2010, he engaged in a $10,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Kenny claimed 24th position and took home $75,000.

Kenny clinched his first ring at the WSOP Circuit in Philadelphia in May 2011. He took part in a $1,600 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event and bagged $94,901.

Continuing his career, he competed in a $2,500 + 200 No Limit Hold’em Championship during the Borgata Spring Poker Open in Atlantic City in April 2013. David finished in 3rd place and took home $108,662.

In February 2017, Kenny entered in a $365 No Limit Hold’em Event #6 at the WSOPC in Las Vegas. He clinched his second ring and won $23,196.

Later in September of that year, he participated in a $3,500 No Limit Hold’em Event #16 at the WPT in Maryland. Kenny reached the final table by placing 8th and cashed $50,000.
