Ken Aldridge is a professional poker player from the United States who currently resides in Pleasant Garden, North Carolina. He is a poker player who has made a name for himself and done so successfully. He now has over $2.4 million in live earnings after accomplishing one World Series of Poker bracelet, two World Poker Tour Final Tables, and one European Poker Tour Cashes. 

Ken Aldridge: Early Life

Ken Aldridge, also known as Teach, is a retired teacher and the founder of Ken Aldridge Co. Ken’s Cars, Inc. He attended North Carolina State University and graduated in 1973.

He began competing in live tournaments in August 2005. Since then, he has worked his way up to achieve great success and become well-known. He is easily identifiable by his yellow jacket and yellow hat, making him easily visible on a tournament field.

Ken Aldridge Poker Career

Ken is frequently seen at poker tournaments. He was first seen competing at the WSOP Circuit in Tunica, Robinsonville. He finished 27th and earned $1,880 for his efforts. The following May, 2006, he competed in another tournament at The Mirage Poker Showdown in Las Vegas. He finished 10th and earned $2,357.

Despite the fact that Ken had little experience in the tournament scene and has been back and forth. He did, however, win his first WSOP bracelet in June 2009. He took first place and $428,259 at the 40th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. In August, he reached the final table of the Gold Strike World Poker Open, finishing third and earning $11,444.

He also competed in the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in December 2009, finishing second and earning $3,977. The following January, he finished second at the Southern Poker Championship in Biloxi, earning $4,898.

He continued to participate in as many tournaments as possible because he enjoyed traveling, and he believed that participating in these events, which were held in various locations, would help him achieve that goal. Also, he took part in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure on Paradise Island in January 2013. He finished in sixth and earned $44,460.

He also competed in the L.A Poker Classic in February 2015, where he earned $73,640 and finished 12th. Ken also competed in the 46th World Series of Poker in June of that year, finishing fifth and earning $97,122. He also competed in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood in August of that year, finishing third and winning $3,670.

Ken Aldridge Continued to shine at WSOP

Aldridge has been an active World of Series participant, and his results have continued to improve. In July 2018, he competed in the 49th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Ken finished third and earned $154,648 for his efforts.

He also competed in the World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Hollywood in April 2021. He finished sixth out of 2,482 competitors in the event. Brek Schutten, an American poker player, took first place and won $1,261,095.

Ken also refused to let the 53rd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in June 2022 pass him by. He returned to the final table, where Eli Elezra took first place, David Rheem took second place, Robert Cowen took third place, Damjan Radanov took fourth place, and he took fifth place, earning $146,242.

He also competed in the PokerGO Tour at the Poker Masters in Las Vegas in September 2022, finishing seventh and earning $48,500. His most recent appearance was at the WSOP and WSOPC events in Las Vegas and North Carolina, where he was last seen in August 2023.
