Keith Hawkins also known as ‘The Camel’ is a British professional poker player from Ascot, England. He regularly writes articles for Card Player Magazine and The Hendon Mob’s website, and also contributes to their forum under the username “The Camel.”

Hawkins has over $1.1 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $155,837 came when he finished in 4th place at the Master Classics of Poker in November 2006.

Keith Hawkins recorded his first live cash in May 1999, he placed 2nd in the £250 No Limit Hold’em event at the Stakis Festival in London, earning $5,928.

Following this, in November 2006, he finished 4th in the €5,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the LIDO Dutch Open, part of the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam, with a payout of $155,837.

Building on this success, Hawkins had a strong performance in September 2009 when he took 11th place in the £10,000 + £350 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the World Series of Poker Europe in London, earning $84,963.

Additionally, in July 2008, he competed in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 39th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, where he finished in 75th place, earning $77,200.

In April 2010, Hawkins continued to showcase his skill by finishing 5th in the €5,000 + €250 No Limit Hold’em Six Max event at the European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo, securing $41,270.

Most recently, in November 2023, Hawkins took 17th place in the £500 + £50 No Limit Hold’em GUKPT Cup at the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Blackpool Leg 9, earning $1,384.
