Joseph Ward’s first recorded live cash occurred in November 2003 at the World Poker Finals in Mashantucket. He finished in 10th place in a $1,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $2,420.

In July 2008, Joseph played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em – World Championship at the 39th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 218th place and earned $38,600.

A year later, in July 2009, he again entered the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em – World Championship. Joseph finished in 28th place and secured his biggest live cash of $253,941.
