Joseph Palma, known as “The Worm,” is an American professional poker player residing in Philadelphia, PA. He has amassed $1.2 million in total live tournament earnings, with his best cash of $120,000 coming in August 2017 when he won the Parx Casino Big Stax XXII in Bensalem.

Joseph Palma recorded his first live cash in November 2004, finishing 2nd in the $565 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo event at the World Poker Finals in Mashantucket. He earned $18,686 for his runner-up finish.

In May 2015, Palma participated in the $1,600 NLH event at the Parx Casino Big Stax XI in Bensalem. He placed 2nd, winning $60,333.

In May 2017, he claimed 1st place in the $340 NLH Big Stax 300 event at the Parx Casino Big Stax XXI in Bensalem. He earned $60,675.

His best live cash came in August 2017 when Palma won the $340 NLH Big Stax 300 event at the Parx Casino Big Stax XXII in Bensalem. He secured 1st place, taking home $120,000.

In his most recent participation, in September 2024, Palma competed in the $500 H.O.S.E. Championship at the Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City. He finished 6th, earning $1,961.
