Joseph “Joe” Brandenburg

Joseph “Joe” Brandenburg is an American professional poker player from Portland, Oregon, with over $1.42 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $105,707 came when he finished in 2nd place at the 37th WSOP in August 2006. During his poker career, he clinched his first ring at the WSOP Circuit Hammond in October 2016.

Joseph Brandenburg’s first recorded live cash occurred in July 2001 at the Orleans Open in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place in a $300 + 40 Limit Hold’em, winning $37,915.

On April 12th, 2006, he entered in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em – Evening at the Fourth Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and $32,660 added to his winnings.

Shortly after, on April 22nd, 2006, Joseph played in a $500 + 10 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event during the Spring Poker Round-Up in Pendleton. He clinched another victory and won $72,635.

Later in August of that year, he participated in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em at the 37th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Joseph finished in 2nd place and secured his biggest live cash of $105,707.

Luck favored him as he cashed $51,398 at the 38th WSOP in July 2007. Joseph joined in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em – World Championship and secured 168th place.

In October 2016, Joseph clinched his first ring at the WSOPC in Las Vegas. He competed in a $ 365 Omaha 8 Event #8 and won $13,203.

Most recently, in May 2024, he competed in a $120 Mixed Games – Wheel of Chaos Bomb Pot at the Portland Meadows Spring Classic. Joseph placed 6th and cashed $590.
