Jose Rosenkrantz recorded his first live cash in May 1986. He participated in a $1,500 Limit Hold’em
at the 17th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 26th place and cashed for $1,500.

In August 1997, Jose played in a $1,000 + 60 Pot Limit Hold’em during the Hall of Fame Poker Classic in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place and won $45,200.

On January 10th, 2002, Jose played in a $500 + 40 No Limit Texas Hold’em at the Third Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica. He clinched another victory and $56,527 added to his winnings.

During the Costa Rica Classic in San Jose in October 2002, his winning streak continued. He took part in a $500 No Limit Hold’em – WPT Event #6 and won his biggest live cash of $108,730.

In July 2009, Jose played in a $10,000 World Championship No Limit Hold’em at the 40th WSOP. He placed 142nd and earned $40,288.

Most recently, in June 2024, he competed in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Super Seniors Bracelet Event #59 at the 55th WSOP. He placed 327th and took home $2,101.
