Jonathan Van Fleet, also known as Apestyles, is a successful online poker player, who has achieved more than he expected. Growing up in Texas, Van Fleet later earned a degree in psychology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Collaborating with Eric Lynch and Jon Turner, he co-authored three poker books from 2008 to 2012 titled “Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time.”
Since 2006, he’s consistently excelled in high-stakes online tournaments. With a lifetime total exceeding $22 million. He’s ranked number 1 in Canada and 52 worldwide, mainly winning big on PokerStars and GGPoker. As of now, he’s in 6th place for All-Time winnings.

Jon Cashed for the first time on October 27th, 2006, at the WSOP Circuit, WSOPC Southern Indiana, Elizabeth. He placed 6th in the $1,000 + $60 No-Limit Hold’em event and earned $8,439.
He achieved another milestone in France at the Partouche Poker Tour, PPT La Grande Finale, Cannes on September 6th, 2008. Fleet took down the €450 + €50 No-Limit Hold’em event, winning $34,398 and the trophy.
