Jonathan Jaffe is an American poker player who was born in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, on March 3, 1987.  He goes by the name Iftarii when playing online. Jaffe has also participated in highly respected live tournaments since 2005. 

Jonathan Jaffe: Poker Career Highlights

  • At the 2008 WSOP Heads-Up Championship, he earned more than $100,000, he placed 4th in mid-June 2008. 
  • He reached the WPT Main Event final table in Mashantucket in November 2008. He was defeated by Jonathan Little heads-up. Jaffe cashed for about $670,000. 
  • He made it to Day 6 of the Main Event at the 2013 WSOP before being eliminated in 42nd place.
  • He took home almost $140,000 in prize money after winning the Mashantucket Foxwoods World Poker Finals in 2014. He won the WPT Main Event in Kahnawake a month later, taking home the equivalent of about $410,000 in cash. 
  • Jaffe participated in his first WSOP final table in mid-June 2015. He earned nearly $160,000 for placing fourth in an 8-handed no-limit hold’em event. 
  • He finished fourth in the WPT Tournament of Champions at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Hollywood, Florida. Toward the end of April 2016, earning almost $100,000. He placed eighth at the Seminole Hard Rock Finals a year later in the same position, earning about $90,000.
  • Jaffe finished in second place at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventures High Roller in the Bahamas in January 2018, earning nearly $570,000. 
  • He earned more than $100,000 in prize money for his second-place finish at the Florida State Poker Championships in Pompano Beach at the end of July 2018. 
  • He qualified for the final table of the WPT Main Event in December 2019 at the Hotel Bellagio in Las Vegas, where he finished in sixth place and won more than $350,000.
