Born on August 24th, 1987 in Boucherville, Canada, Jonathan Duhamel played amateur ice hockey. He went to University of Quebec in Montreal to study finance. However, he left after 2 years.
Jonathan Duhamel first appeared in a recorded live tournament in August 2006. He entered the Empire State Poker Series in Verona. Duhamel competed in a $200 + $30 No Limit Hold’em event and cashed for $369.
During the 41st WSOP in Las Vegas in July 2010, He achieved significant success. He finished 1st place in a $10,000 World Championship No Limit Hold’em event. He won his biggest single cash of $8,944,310, and secured his first WSOP bracelet.
Following his success, Duhamel triumphed in a $111,111 No Limit Hold’em High Roller for One Drop at the 46th WSOP in Las Vegas in June 2015. He won $3,989,985 and received his second WSOP bracelet.
In October 2015, Jonathan excelled again at the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) in Berlin. He won in a €25,600 No Limit Hold’em High Roller #10. He collected his third bracelet with a grand prize of $628,915.
