Jon Friedberg is an American professional poker player and entrepreneur based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is the CEO of PokerAtlas (Overlay Gaming Corp), and holds an MBA from Pepperdine University. Friedberg has amassed over $1.1 million in total live tournament earnings, with his best live cash of $526,185 coming in July 2006 when he won first place at the 37th WSOP in Las Vegas. This victory also earned him a WSOP bracelet.

Jon Friedberg: Live Tournament Participation

Jon Friedberg recorded his first live cash in June 2003, placing 12th in the $220 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event at the Battle of the Bay in San Francisco. He earned $460 for his finish.

In July 2006, Friedberg achieved his best live cash by winning the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the 37th WSOP in Las Vegas. He claimed his first WSOP bracelet and took home $526,185 for his 1st-place finish.

In January 2007, Friedberg competed in the $8,000 WPT Championship Event – No Limit Hold’em at the PCA in Paradise Island. He finished 9th, earning $123,617. Later that year, in May, he placed 8th in the $10,000 NLH Championships at the Mirage Poker Showdown in Las Vegas. He added $57,637 to his winnings.

Friedberg placed 3rd in the $1,500 PLO event at the 38th WSOP in Las Vegas. He earned $101,147.

In July 2011, Friedberg participated in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the 42nd WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished 190th and added $47,107 to his poker earnings.

In his most recent participation, in June 2022, Friedberg played in the $500 NLH – The Housewarming event. There at the 53rd WSOP in Las Vegas, he placed 1680th, earning $1,071.
