Steven Pleads Guilty In Illegal Gambling Investigation

Johnny Steven pleaded guilty to his role in an illegal gambling operation discovered by the FBI. He was sentenced to 12 months of federal probation on Tuesday and agreed to forfeit $97,600 in gambling proceeds. According to US Attorney Stephen McAllister, Steven pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the unlawful transmission of wagering information. Steven admitted in his plea that he worked with co-defendant Daven Flax to run illegal private poker games in Wichita. He received three years of probation and 200 hours of community service. He also handed over a check for nearly $1.1 million to the United States. Marshal’s Office, which represents his criminal proceeds.

Conclusion

Johnny continues to appear in HCL, most recently in September 2023. He has yet to achieve significant success in both live tournaments and cash games. He currently has more losses than wins in Hustler Casino Live alone, but he still has a lifetime to make up for them.
