John Womack’s first recorded live cash occurred in May 2001 during the Summer Pot of Gold in Reno. He finished in 5th place in a $100 + 20 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or Better – Twilight, cashing $625.

In July 2002, John played in a $230 Texas Hold’em Omaha Hi/Lo during the Orleans Open in Las Vegas. He clinched victory and won $16,295.

During the Mirage Poker Showdown in Las Vegas in May 2005, he clinched another victory. John took part in a $1,500 + 70, 7 Card Stud and won his biggest live cash of $34,920.

At the L.A Poker Classic in February 2006, he earned a cash prize of $20,253. John participated in a $970 + 90 Limit 7 Card Stud and finished in 2nd place.

Later in July of that year, he participated in a $5,000 7 Card Stud at the 37th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. John secured 10th place and earned $12,831.

Luck favored him as he won $20,459 during the United States Poker Championship in Atlantic City in September 2008. John competed in a $300 + 40 No Limit Hold’em – Seniors Event and finished in 1st place.

Most recently, in June 2011, he competed in a $550 No Limit Hold’em – Seniors Event during the Mega Stack Series in Las Vegas. John placed 36th and took home $1,783.
