John Strzemp II first recorded live cash occurred in January 1983 during the Stairway to the Stars in Las Vegas. He finished in 9th place in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $800.

In May 1998, John played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 28th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 2nd place and secured his biggest live cash of $583,000.

At the Fifth Annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in December 2006, he earned a cash prize of $148,640. John participated in a $2,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em and secured 2nd place.
