John Parker is an American professional poker player from Silver Spring, Maryland, with over $4 million in live tournament earnings. During his poker career, he won three bracelets at the WSOP. His best live cash of $552,745 came with his third bracelet at the 40th WSOP on June 8th, 2009.

John Parker: Live Tournament Participation

John Parker’s first recorded live cash occurred in November 2002 at the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam City Centre. He finished in 6th place in a €200 + 20 Limit Holdem, cashing $2,754.

Fast forward to June 5th, 2009, at the 40th WSOP, where John won $223,697 by finishing 1st in a $2,500 Limit Hold’em – 6 Handed event.

Shortly after, on June 8th, 2009, John returned to the 40th WSOP to join in a $2,500 Limit Hold’em – 6 Handed. He clinched another bracelet and won his biggest live cash of $552,745.

In November 2012, John played in a $2,500 + 200 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the Borgata Fall Poker Open in Atlantic City. He finished in 1st place and bagged $372,568.

He continued his triumphs by securing his third bracelet at the 45th WSOP in June 2014. John entered the $10,000 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Event #10 and $443,407 added to his winnings.

Following this, John joined in a $$15,000 + 400 No Limit Hold’em Event #11 at the WPT World Championship in April 2015. He finished in 7th place and cashed $139,098.

In August 2024, John competed in a $400 Limit Omaha 8 or Better Event #3 during the Maryland State Poker Championship in Hanover. He ended up in 6th place, earning $1,200.
