John Gordon’s journey began with a significant performance at the 26th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in May 1995, where he competed in a $2,500 No Limit Hold’em event and secured 2nd place, earning $124,500.

In September 2006, Gordon continued to make a mark by winning the $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em event at the WSOP Circuit in Tunica, Robinsonville. This victory not only granted him $100,727 but also earned him a coveted WSOP ring.

The following month, in October 2006, he demonstrated his skill further by clinching 1st place at the Mandalay Bay Poker Championship in Las Vegas. This win brought him a prize of $111,800.
