John Monnette is an American professional poker player from San Diego, California, who currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Over his career, he has won five WSOP bracelets and has ammased $4.2 million in live tournament earnings. His best live of $279,206 came when he finished in 2nd place at the 43rd WSOP in June 2012.
John Monnette’s first recorded live cash occurred in April 2004 at Fun in the Sun in Oceanside. He finished in 1st place in a $200 Limit Hold’em, winning $8,750.
In June 2011, John entered in a $2,500 8 Game at the 42nd WSOP in Las Vegas. He claimed his first bracelet, winning $278,144.
