John Esposito is an American professional poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada, with over $3.8 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $466,407 was achieved when he finished in 3rd place at the 50th World Series of Poker in June 2019. Esposito clinched his first bracelet at the 30th World Series of Poker in April 1999.
In January 1985, John Esposito placed 4th in the $500 No Limit Hold’em Match Play at the Stairway to the Stars in Las Vegas, earning $800. This early success marked the beginning of his poker career.
Moving forward, in April 1999, Esposito won 1st place in the $2,500 Limit Hold’em event at the 30th World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. As a result, he received $219,225 and a WSOP bracelet.
Subsequently, in November 2004, Esposito took 1st place in the $2,000 + $80 No Limit Hold’em event at the Five-Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas, earning $235,711.
Continuing his winning streak, in October 2005, Esposito secured 1st place in the $2,000 + $80 No Limit Hold’em event at the Bellagio Festa Al Lago IV in Las Vegas, which earned him $171,830.
In July 2011, Esposito demonstrated his skill by finishing 32nd in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the 42nd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Consequently, he earned $242,636.
Later, in June 2019, Esposito placed 3rd in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship Event #58 at the 50th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, earning $466,407.
Most recently, in June 2024, Esposito achieved 10th place in the $3,000 Mixed Games: 9-Game Mix – 7-Handed Bracelet Event #53 at the 55th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, and earned $14,085.
