Johan Salomonsson’s first live cash was recorded in August 2017. He participated in a SKr 3,000 + 400 Pot Limit Omaha event at the Malmo Open. He secured 15th place and pocketed 684. 

Moving forward to May 2018, he achieved 5th place in a SKr 4,500 + 500 No Limit Hold’em Short-Handed event at Poker-SM 2018 in Stockholm. He took home $3,414.

In June 2018, also at Poker-SM 2018, he achieved his best result yet, finishing 2nd in a SKr 4,500 + 500 Pot Limit Omaha event and cashing for $8,515. 

By August 2018, returning to the Malmo Open, he secured 6th place in an SKr 3,600 + 400 Pot Limit Omaha event. He received $1,722 in prize money. 

His most recent tournament appearance was in October 2019 at the WSOP Europe in Rozvadov. He finished 34th in a €2,200 Pot Limit Omaha – 8-Handed Event, cashing for $3,581.
