Joey Ingram: Early Poker Days

In some video appearances, Joey mentioned that he was interested in mathematics and statistics from a young age, something that likely could have drawn him to the game. In his early days, Joey worked as a waiter and would use the money he made to go and play poker. He started playing online on PokerStars in 2008, initially in No Limit Hold’em with no idea what he was doing. However, he soon figured out that Pot Limit Omaha would be the game that grabbed his interest, rarely ever venturing into other formats. By 2013, he achieved Super-Nova Elite status on PokerStars.
