Joel Harwood’s first recorded live cash occurred in June 1989 during the Summer Poker Festival in Las Vegas. He finished in 7th place in a $200 + 25 Razz, cashing $1,310.

In July 1991, Joel played in a $100 + 15 7 Card Stus during the Gold Coast Open. He finished in 1st place and won $13,446.

At the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in August 2017, he earned a cash prize of $19,531. Joel joined in a $5,250 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event #11 and secured 29th place.
