Joe Russo’s first recorded live cash occurred in April 2003 at the New England Poker Classic in Mashantucket. He finished in 10th place in a $300 + 40 Seven Card Stud, cashing $731.

Following this, in February 2006, Joe entered in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em at the Bellagio Weekly Tournaments in Las Vegas. He ended up in 3rd place, pocketing $13,995.
