Joe Cassidy is an American professional poker player from Huntington Beach, California, with over $1.9 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $362,780 came when he finished in 2nd place at the United States Poker Championship in October 2004. During his poker career, he clinched his first bracelet at the 43rd WSOP in June 2012.

Joe Cassidy’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 2002 at the Third Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open in Tunica. He finished in 10th place in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Texas Hold’em , cashing $2,305.

During the United States Poker Championship in Atlantic City in October 2004, he finished in 2nd place. Joe joined in a $9,700 + 300 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event and secured his biggest live cash of $362,780.

Following this, in December 2005, Joe entered in a $15,000 + 300 Main Event – No Limit Hold’em at the Fourth Annual Five Diamond World Poker Classic. He finished in 7th place and earned $144,895.

At the 37th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in July 2006, he earned a cash prize of $137,280. Joe participated in a $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. and secured 13th place.

Continuing his career, he competed in a $15,000 + 400 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event at the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic in December 2009. Joe reached the final table by placing 7th and took home $154,747.

Moreover, in June 2012, Joe entered in a $5,000 Omaha Hi/Lo Event #24 at the 43rd WSOP. He finished in 1st place and wo a substantial prize of $294,777.

Most recently, in November 2018, he competed in a $5,000 + 300 No Limit Hold’em at the partypoker Caribbean Poker Party. Joe placed 44th and cashed $17,500.
