Jim Carroll is an American poker player, security company owner, author, movie producer, and seminar director based in Frisco, Texas. He is the CEO of StaffWizard and MySpaLive, and the creator of the “Marriage Boot Camp” TV show. Carroll is also the director of the film Black Easter.

With total live tournament earnings of $1.7 million, his best live cash of $700,000 came from winning 1st place at the River Guaranteed $3,000,000 event in Thackerville in August 2008.

Jim Carroll recorded his first live cash in April 2004. He placed 14th in the $2,600 Pot Limit Hold’em event at the WPT Championship in Las Vegas, earning $3,735.

His best live cash came in August 2008, when he won 1st place in the No Limit Hold’em event at The River Guaranteed $3,000,000 in Thackerville, taking home $700,000.

In October 2009, Carroll won 1st place in the $2,100 NLH UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic in Palm Beach, earning $53,420.

In May 2011, he claimed 1st place in the $5,180 NLH event. At the Ninth Annual Five Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas, he won $139,740.

In August 2012, Carroll placed 1st in the $5,000 NLH ‘No Juice’ event. There at The River Guaranteed $4,000,000 Poker Series in Thackerville, earning $90,505.

In January 2016, he finished 7th in the $1,675 NLH Main Event at WSOPC Choctaw in Durant, winning $62,866.

In his most recent appearance, in January 2024, he placed 33rd in the $1,700 NLH event. There at WSOPC Dallas/Oklahoma in Durant, he earned $5,190.
