Jennifer Harman is an American professional poker player originally from Reno, Nevada, and currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has appeared on High Stakes Poker and has accumulated over $2.9 million in total live earnings, with her highest cash being $383,840. Harman holds two WSOP bracelets, won in 2000 and 2002, and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2015.
Jennifer was born on November 29, 1964, in Reno, Nevada. She began playing poker at a young age, often sneaking into casinos to play at just 16. Jennifer experienced kidney failure as a child, which led to the need for a liver transplant. She founded “Creating Organ Donation Awareness,” (CODA) an organization very close to her heart. Sadly, her mother passed away from the same illness when she was seventeen. In 2004, Jen took a year off to undergo a second liver transplant, which has remained successful to this day.
Jennifer debuted in HSP Season 1 Episode 1 on January 16th, 2006. She played in a $300/600 +$100 ANTE ($1.2K) No Limit Hold ’em game with Amir Nasseri, Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, and others. She ended the night down $7,700.
Harman returned to the tables on March 11th, 2007 in HSP Season 3 Episode 9. She engaged in another $300/600 +$100 ANTE ($1.2K) No Limit Hold ’em game with Mike Matusow, Dan Shak, Phil Laak, and others. Harman achieved his biggest win amounting to $97,800.
