Jeff Kimber is a British journalist and poker player from London, England, with over $1.8 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $168,795 came at the 2007 World Headsup Poker Championship in Barcelona.

Over the years, Kimber has worked as a sports writer and editor for renowned publications such as the Press Association, Sunday Times, and TV Times, among others. From 2009 to 2011, he was sponsored by Grosvenor Casino in the UK. Currently, he serves as a Senior Copywriter for WPT Global.

Jeff Kimber’s poker career began in May 2005. He participated in €330 Limit Hold’em Freezeout at the World Heads Up Poker Championships in Barcelona. Kimber finished in 14th place, collecting $732.

In February 2006, he finished 9th in $10,000 Main Event No Limit Hold’em at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose, taking home $100,000.

Later that year, in November 2006, he claimed 5th place in $5,000 Championship Event – No Limit Hold’em at the Betfair APT Singapore, earning $87,400.

Kimber achieved his best live cash in May 2007 by competing in €2,600 World Headsup Poker Championship 2007. It took place at the World Headsup Poker Championship in Barcelona, where he finished 1st, earning $168,795 in prize money.

In February 2008, Kimber played in £1,060 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event at the Grosvenor UK Poker in Walsall He ended up in winning the tournament, winning $163,240.

In June 2009, he took part in $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha at the 40th WSOP in Las Vegas. Kimber took second place and cashed for $145,656.

Kimber’s most recent appearance was in July 2024 at the 55th WSO in Las Vegas. There, he finished 9th in $1,500 Mixed Games: Eight Game Mix – 6-Handed (Bracelet Event #83) for $10,834.
