Jeff Doane’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 2002 at the Third Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open. He finished in 22nd place in a $300 + 30 Limit Texas Hold’em, cashing $887.

In August 2006, Jeff played in a $2,750 No Limit Hold’em at the Heartland Poker Tour in Turtle Lake. He finished in 9th place and earned $8,232.

Following this, he joined in a $500 + 50 No Limit Hold’em at the WSOPC in Iowa in February 2007. He finished in 1st place and won his biggest live cash of $43,766.

At the 2nd Annual Horseshoe Poker Classic in Council Bluffs in September 2008, he won $10,372. Jeff entered in a $300 + 40 No Limit Hold’em and clinched another victory.

Continuing his career, he participated in a $200 Omaha Hi/Lo at the Fall Poker Classic in Shakopee. He placed 2nd and cashed $5,112.

Three years later, in October 2013, he returned to the Fall Poker Classic in Shakopee to join in a $200 + 30 No Limit Hold’em. He finished in 1st place and won a prize of $11,096.

His final appearance was on June 2nd, 2017. He competed in a $150 No Limit Hold’em at the Grand Poker Series in Las Vegas. Jeff ended up in 209th place, earning $279. This event occurred 17 days before his passing on June 19th, 2017.
