Jason Strochak’s first recorded live cash occurred in October 2004, he secured 2nd place at the Festa al Lago III Poker Tournament in Las Vegas, a $2,000 + $80 No Limit Hold’em event, earning $79,872.

Shortly after this success, in December 2004, he claimed 3rd place in a $3,000 + $100 Limit Hold’em event at the Five-Diamond World Poker Classic in Las Vegas, taking home $43,408.

Following a two-year gap, Strochak entered the WPT Championship at the Fourth Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas in April 2006. He participated in the $25,000 + $500 No Limit Hold’em event and finished 81st, collecting $43,935.
