Jason Stern is an American professional poker player from San Jose, California, with over $1.3 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $529,300 came when he finished in 2nd place at the World Poker Challenge in March 2006. Building on his achievements, Jason won two WSOP Circuit rings—first at the WSOPC Las Vegas in November 2005 and later at WSOPC San Diego in February 2007.

Jason Stern’s first recorded live cash occurred in June 2004 during the Summer Pot of Gold in Reno. He finished in 4th place in a $100 + 20 Limit Hold’em, cashing $1,769.

In March 2006, Jason played in a $5,000 + 100 No Limit Hold’em – Championship Event at the World Poker Challenge in Reno. He finished in 2nd place and secured his biggest live cash of $529,300.

A year later, in March 2007, he placed 2nd at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star, earning $96,160 in a $1,920 + $100 No Limit Hold’em Championship Event.

Following this, Jason joined in a $300 + 30 No Limit Hold’em at the Deep Stack Extravaganza II in April 2009. He finished in 1st place and won $25,578.

Continuing his career, he finished in 1st place at the Deep Stack Extravaganza III in July 2012. Winning $51,342 in a $600 No Limit Hold’em event.

Fast forward to July 2019. At the Grand Poker Series, he bagged $44,063. In this event, Jason entered in a $200 No Limit Hold’em – Ultimate Bounty and clinched victory.

In June 2024, Jason competed in a $400 Big O Event #52 at Golden Nugget Grand Poker Series in Las Vegas. He ended up in 14th place, earning $960.
