Jared Smith’s first recorded live cash occurred in March 2006 at the World Poker Challenge in Reno. He finished in 25th place in a $300 + 30 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $469.

A year later, in March 2007, Jared entered in a $500 + 50 No Limit Hold’em at the World Poker Challenge in Reno. He ended up in 1st place, winning $21,792.

Following this, in December 2008, he played in a $15,000 + 400 No Limit Hold’em at  Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic. Jared made 88th place finish, pocketing $21,620.

Then, in February 2009, Jared joined in a $1,060 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the Mega Stack Series in Las Vegas. He finished in 1st place, adding $60,921 to his winnings.

Fast forward to June 2024. He participated in a $10,400 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the Wynn Summer Classic in Las Vegas. Jared placed 27th, securing his best live cash of $63,504 to date.

Later that year, in October, Jared took part in a $1,515 + 185 No Limit Hold’em Main Ring Event #9 at the WSOPC Northern California. He ended up in 7th place, cashing $28,640.

In November 2024, Jared competed in a $1,700 No Limit Hold’em Main Ring Event #13 at the WSOPC in Nevada. He ended up in 56th place, earning $3,418.
