Jared Gitlin

Jared Gitlin, known in the gaming scene as “zombs,” is an esports player and streamer. He began his career as an Overwatch player before transitioning to Apex Legends and Valorant, competing for renowned teams such as FaZe Clan, Skyfoxes, and Sentinels. In 2023, zombs retired from competition and took on a new role as a co-owner of Sentinels.

He is also a cash game poker player who has appeared on Hustler Casino Live.

Jared Gitlin: Early Life

Zombs started uploading his gameplay videos to his YouTube channel in January 2015. During Overwatch’s closed beta, he performed well enough to catch the attention of Team Liquid, briefly joining them in early 2016. However, in March 2016, he decided to join FaZe Clan’s pro-team instead. After a short stint with Team Liquid again in 2017, Zombs retired from Overwatch.

In February 2018, he joined Simplicity’s pro-Overwatch roster. When Apex Legends was released in February 2019, Zombs began playing and quickly excelled. By March 2019, he joined the Sentinels’ pro-Apex Legends team, achieving notable tournament finishes and solidifying his reputation in the pro scene.
