Jamie Gold is an American poker player, television producer, advisor, investor, and philanthropist, from Malibu, California. His total live tournament earnings exceed $12.6 million, highlighted by a single cash of $12,000,000 earned during his victory at the 37th World Series of Poker in 2006, where he won the WSOP Main Event.
Gold has appeared on notable poker television shows such as High Stakes Poker and Poker After Dark.

Jamie was born on August 25, 1969, in Kansas City, Missouri. At the age of 16, he began his 15-year career in the entertainment industry as an intern at a talent agency. By 21, he had transitioned to working as a talent agent, and later moved into production management. He was able to manage clients like Jimmy Fallon and Lucy Liu.
He began playing poker seriously after meeting Johnny Chan and Chris Moneymaker on the set of an upcoming television show. It was during this time that Gold started participating in live poker tournaments under Chan’s mentorship.
