James Whittet: Early Life

James Whittet’s upbringing as a nomad began early in life. Born in the UK, he embarked on a journey that took him to New York, Canada, and the Netherlands, all before he turned four. Moving around so much from an early age, he always had to learn how to relate to different types of people. After graduating from university, he found himself in a high-paying sales job that left him unfulfilled. The 2008 economic crisis brought unexpected change, prompting James to revisit his childhood passion for poker. He dove headfirst into the game, learning strategies through online resources and community support. This newfound dedication paid off as he quickly surpassed his previous income, gained recognition in the poker world, and moved to Las Vegas.

Despite setbacks such as the 2011 Black Friday, James embraced a nomadic lifestyle, exploring countries like Australia, Mexico, Canada, and Europe. Alongside his poker journey, he navigated personal highs and lows, emerging not just as a successful player but also as a life coach, now guiding others globally through his coaching business.
