James Richburg is an American poker player from Long Beach, California, with over $551k in live tournament earnings. Building on his achievements, James won two bracelets—first at the 37th WSOP in July 2006 and later at 38th WSOP in June 2007. His biggest live cash came in June 20007 when he won $238,881 along with his second WSOP bracelet.
James Richburg’s first recorded live cash occurred in August 1989 at the 5th Annual Diamond Jim Brady in Bell Gardens. He ended up in 4th place in a $300 Limit Hold’em, cashing $18,350.
Then, in May 1991, James entered in a $1,500 Seven Card Stud Split at the 22nd World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. He ended up in 2nd place, taking home $53,100.
Fast forward to July 2006. He made his mark by first his first bracelet at the 37th WSOP. He won a prize of $139,576 in a $1,500 Seven Card Razz event.
Following this, in June 2007, James participated in a $2,500 H.O.R.S.E at the 38th WSOP. He ended up in 1st place, winning his best live cash of 238,881 to date.

In June 2018, James competed in a $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo Event #25 at the 49th WSOP. He ended up in 75th place, earning a prize of $2,295.
