James Mordue is an American professional poker player from Beverly Hills, California, with over $1 million in live tournament earnings. His best live cash of $478,405 came when he finished in 2nd place at the UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic in October 2007.
James Mordue’s first recorded live cash occurred in January 2004 at the Grand American Poker Classic in Robinsonville. He finished in 7th place in a $500 + 50 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $5,175.
In July 2005, James played in a $300 + 30 No Limit Hold’em at Stars & Stripe in Bell Gardens. He finished in 1st place and $34,650 added to his winnings.
Following this, he joined in a $100 + 25 No Limit Hold’em during the National Championship of Poker in Inglewood in October 2006. He clinched another victory and won $62,915.
Year later, in October 2007, James entered in a $5,000 + 500 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event at the UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic in Palm Beach. He placed 2nd and secured his biggest live cash of $478,405.
Later in December of that year, he participated in a $15,000 + 400 No Limit Hold’em at Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic. James placed 64th and earned $28,905.
Fast forward to February 2015. At the L.A Poker Classic, he cashed $40,170. In this event, James engaged in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship and finished in 22nd place.
In May 2024, James competed in a $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha – 8 Handed Bracelet Event #8 at the 55th WSOP. He ended up in 62nd place, earning $11,004.
