Jake Minter’s first recorded live cash occurred in February 1996 during the All Hold’em Weekend in Albuquerque. He finished in 4th place in a $50 + 5 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $1,047.

Later in March 1996, Jake clinched victory at the $10k Guaranteed Hold’em, winning a prize of $3,500 in the $40 Pot Limit Hold’em event.

Fast forward to July 2005. At the 36th WSOP, he earned a prize of $107,950. In this event, Jake engaged in a $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em – World Championship and finished in 73rd place.
