Ilyas Abayev

Ilyas Abayev is an Azerbaijani-American poker player and real estate investor currently residing in New York, USA. He used to work as an advisor for Realio, a real estate company before founding his own development company, Moonshot Development. He has also appeared on Poker After Dark.

Ilyas earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business, focusing on Real Estate and Development. He is a businessman who has worked exclusively in the real estate industry in New York. Ilyas has extensive expertise arranging complicated deals and working in a variety of company development jobs. He has worked in the real estate industry for a number of years, participating in development projects, multi-family value-add acquisitions, and the use of private money.

He then returned to the tables on March 14th, 2021, for PAD Season 12 Episode 21. Ilyas played in another $50/100 +$100BBA No Limit Hold ’em game alongside Frank Stepuchin, Ronnie Bardah and others. He lost an astounding $6,150.

His most recent appearance was on March 17th, 2021, during PAD Season 12 Episode 24. Ilyas competed in a $50/100 +$100BBA No Limit Hold ’em game against Mike Matusow, Landon Tice, and others. He ended the night up $3,900.
