Ian O’Hara is an American professional poker player from Boca Raton, Florida, with over $4.5 million in live tournament earnings. He achieved his best live cash of $527,313 by finishing as the runner-up in a $25,400 NLHE High Roller event at the SHRPO in Hollywood, Florida, in August 2015.
Ian O’Hara began his poker career with his first live cash in March 2012. He participated in a $330 No-Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event during the Battle at the Beach in Pompano Beach. He finished 66th and pocketed $944.
In August 2015, he achieved his best live cash in a $25,400 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood. He reached the final table, finished 2nd, and took home $527,313.
Following this, in September 2016, O’Hara won the $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em Championship Event. It took place at the Coco Poker Open in Coconut Creek. He finished 1st and secured $212,830.
In August 2021, he made it to the final table of the $5,250 No-Limit Hold’em Championship Event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open in Hollywood. He finished 3rd and collected $437,350.
