Huckleberry “Huck” Seed

Huckleberry Seed, is a professional poker player from the United States, he was born in Santa Clara, California, on January 15, 1969. He has now earned more than $7 million in his lifetime. He is better known as Huck See. One of his best wins came in May 1996 at the 27th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Huck Seed: Early Life

Huck Seed was born in California but spent his childhood in rural Montana. He was a die-hard basketball fan. During his college years, he returned to California to study electrical engineering at the California Institute of Technology. However, he did not finish his studies.

He took a leave of absence in 1989, which he spent playing cash games in California poker rooms. He never returned to college and became a professional poker player because he did well enough to make a good living.

Huck Seed: Poker Career

Huck Seed first appeared in a live tournament at the Super Stars Of Poker in Tahoe in January 1990, where he won $30,240 after finishing first.

He won another WSOP event in April 1994, earning his first gold bracelet at the 25th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He won the exact amount of $167,000. After that, more impressive results followed.

Seed also took first place and the $1,000,000 prize in the 1996 World Series of Poker main event, earning him a second bracelet. He qualified for the final table of the 1999 WSOP main event, but Noel Furlong, who eventually won, eliminated him in sixth place.

In a $3,000 Limit Razz tournament at the 2003 World Series of Poker, Seed won his fourth bracelet of his career. He won the bracelet by defeating Phil Ivey heads up.
