Hoang Ta: Live Tournament Participation

Hoang Ta recorded his first live cash in March 1997. He participated in a $100 + 15 No Limit Hold’em
during the 1997 Winnin’ o’ The Green in Los Angeles. He finished in 9th place and cashed $465.

Subsequently, in February 1998, he competed in a $500 + 40 Omaha Hi/Lo at the L.A. Poker Classic. Hoang finished in 1st, winning $24,000.

Following this, on February 20th, 2003, he entered the $300 + 30 Limit Hold’em at the L.A. Poker Classic. Hoang finished 3rd place and earned $31,235.

Shortly after, on February 21st, 2003, he joined in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship at the same event. He secured 8th place and $33,370.

He returned to the L.A. Poker Classic in February 2004, where he had his biggest live cash $33,815 by finishing in 1st place in a $500 + $40 Omaha Hi/Lo event.

Most recently, in January 2020, he competed in a $250 No Limit Hold’em – Seniors 50+ Event #10 at the WPT Gardens Poker Championship in Los Angeles. He placed 20th and took home $460.
