Hoah Binh Dang Do first recorded live cash occurred in April 1999 during the Spring Challenge in Compton. He finished in 7th place in a $200 + 25 Limit Hold’em, cashing $1,505.

Later in July of that year, he participated in a $200 + 30 Limit Hold’em at the Orleans Open in Las Vegas. Hoah finished in 1st place and won $39,330.
