Herbert Tapscott is an American poker player from Decatur, Alabama. His journey began with his service in the Air Force, where he served as a Vietnam veteran. After his military service, Tapscott transitioned into the finance industry and currently owns a finance business in Hartselle, Alabama.

In January 2010, he achieved a significant milestone by clinching his first WSOPC ring at the WSOPC Tunica. This success paved the way for his impressive poker career. Later, in June 2012, Tapscott secured his first bracelet at the 43rd World Series of Poker, marking his best live cash of $264,400. Over the years, he has accumulated over $398,000 in live tournament earnings.

Then, in January 2010, he won 1st place in the $500 + 50 No Limit Hold’em event at the WSOPC Tunica, earning $25,369 and a WSOPC Ring.

Notably, in June 2012, Tapscott secured 1st place in the $1,500 Omaha Hi/Lo (Event #8) at the 43rd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, with a payout of $264,400.
