Henry Nguyen’s first recorded live cash occurred in December 1999 during the Uncle Louie Hold’em Bowl in San Jose. He finished in 5th place in a $300 + 20 Limit Hold’em, cashing $1,800.

In April 2002, Henry played in a $2,000 Limit Hold’em at the 33rd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished in 11th place and earned $12,620.
