Guy first recorded live cash occurred in April 2002 at the New England Poker Classic in Mashantucket. He finished in 8th place in a $500 + 65 No Limit Hold’em, cashing $2,088.

Year later, in April 2003, Guy secured his biggest live cash of $143,840 at the 34th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He joined in a $2,000 No Limit Hold’em and finished in 2nd place.

At the 40th WSOP in July 2009, he earned a cash prize of $36,626. Guy participated in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship and secured 223rd place.
