Gregory Alston is an American poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada, who has earned over $753k in live tournament winnings. His largest live cash, amounting to $134,801, was achieved when he reached the final table and finished 5th in the 42nd World Series of Poker held in Las Vegas in June 2011.

Gregory Alston’s poker career features several notable achievements. He recorded his first live cash in September 1994, he placed 4th in the $500 + $30 Limit Hold’em event at the Queens Poker Classic Summer Edition in Las Vegas, earning $6,305.

Subsequently, in January 2000, Alston secured 1st place in the $1,000 + $60 Limit Hold’em event at Carnivale of Poker III in Las Vegas, winning $85,775.

Following this, he achieved another 1st place finish in the $200 + $40 Limit Hold’em event at the Larry Flynt Grand Slam of Poker in Gardena in July 2002, where he took home $63,535.

In April 2006, Alston competed in the $25,000 + $500 WPT Championship No Limit Hold’em event at the Fourth Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas. Although he finished 97th, he still cashed $43,935.

Moving forward, at the 39th World Series of Poker in June 2008, he placed 3rd in the $1,500 Pot Limit Hold’em event, receiving $82,726.

Later, in June 2011, Alston achieved 5th place in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Seniors Championship at the 42nd World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, earning $134,801.

Most recently, in June 2024, Alston participated in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Seniors Championship Bracelet Event #46 at the 55th World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He finished 863rd, cashing $2,000.
