George Huber

George Huber was an American professional poker player from Pahrump, Nevada, with over $581.2K in live tournament earnings. During his poker career, he won at the 8th WSOP in May 1977. His best live cash of $150,000 came when he won at Amarillo Slim’s Superbowl Of Poker in February 1979. He passed away on July 26th, 2023.

George Huber: Live Tournament Participation

George Huber’s first recorded live cash was in May 1977 at the 8th WSOP in Las Vegas. He finished in first place in a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em and won $33,000.

George played in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em at Amarillo Slim’s Superbowl Of Poker in February 1979. He finished in 1st place and won his biggest live cash of $150,000.

Later in May of that year, he participated in a $10,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship at the 10th WSOP. George finished in 3rd place and earned $81,000.

At the Triple Crown of Poker Classic in January 1986, he won a prize of $39,105. George entered in a $500 Pot Limit Hold’em and finished in 1st place.

In October 2004, George joined in a $1,000 + 60 No Limit Hold’em Final Day during the Festa al Lago III. He finished in 2nd place and cashed $55,605.
